LAKE PALACE,Siliserh (Palace Hotel) |
Located on the road tojaipur, 15 kms. From Alwr town is one of the most enchanting and picuresque water palaces of Rajasthan-Siliserh. It was built as a summer retreat by the third ruler of Alwar, Vinay Singh.The palace is ideally located, hidden from the view by the lush green Aravallis on three sides and a beautiful lake at its foothills.
The Tranquil water of the lake is ideal for boating and the palace appears even more specacular from the lake. The siliserh Palce has now been conerted into a modern tourist hotel by the RTDC. It is very popular with tourists. They can enoy sunset from the terrace of the palace if they’ve had enough of paddle boating. The rooms have all the modern amenities and care has been taken to provide every comfort to the tourst.

SARISKA PALACE, Sariska (Palace Hotel) |
Sariska is the land of the tiger. The sanctuary here is spread over 900 sq. kms of dense forests, hills and vales and on its threshold lies the imposing Sariska Palace, Built at the close of the 19th century by Maharaja jai Singh of Alwar, this palace was originally a royal hunting lodge. Conveniently located 199 kms. From Delhi and 120 kms. From Jaipur, Hotel Sariska Palce is today a palace hotel with all possible amenities to make the guest feel like a Maharaja. NEEMRANA FORT PALACE, Neemrana (Palace Hotel) |
Neemrana fort is 122 kms. From Delhi and is situated on a majestic plateau in the Aravalli ranges. Constructed in 1464 A.D. by Roa Rajdeo, it is perhaps the oldest heritage resort in India. The property covers 25 acres of land and the palace spans five levels of construction which cut into the hill. Along the southern ramparts, the recently laid hanging gardens, add to the rugged beauty of this fort-palace.
Restored painstakingly to its former glory, the fort has some beautiful suites furnished in an eclectic mixture of tradional Indian and colonial furnitures. Most of these suites and rooms have their own private balconies and terraces which offer panoramic vistas. The bathrooms too look down on the countryside below. Some interesting rooms here are Hawa Mahal, Barsat Mahal, Mata Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Surya Mahal. The panch Mahal restaurant is an elegantly furnished room where frency quiches, gigot and profieroles are just as popular as traditional Rajasthani meals.
Special Features: The eleven storey stepell built in the 18th sentury, located very close to the palace, is an architectural marvel. It has arched passages running along three sides of the well.
